At Cottesloe Dental we aim to your child's dental experiences as pleasant as possible. To achieve this we use the latest dental technology, including diagnostic laser assessment to allow the earliest detection of decay. Early detection allows accurate minimal treatment with microdentistry techniques. White fillings are used exclusively in children's teeth and happy gas (nitrous oxide) is available to help reduce anxiety during procedures.
It's never too early to bring your children to Cottesloe Dental to meet their future dentist and hygienist. By three years of age most children will have their full set of baby teeth. If there have been no prior concerns, it is at this time that we carry out our first full examination.
And remember to check if you are eligible for the Government’s Child Dental Benefits Scheme, which covers basic services (capped at $700 per child over a two calendar year period); and is aimed at children 2 – 17 years of age. Cottesloe Dental “bulk bills” eligible patients for this service.
